Tracee E. Davis, BJ Finneran and James N. Zell Named Counsel at Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP
Tracee E. Davis, BJ Finneran and James N. Zell have been named Counsel at the Manhattan-based law firm of Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP.
TRACEE E. DAVIS, 44, an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation practice, has been promoted to Counsel. Prior to joining Zeichner Ellman & Krause, she was the Principal Court Attorney to Justice Ramos of the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division, in Manhattan. Her practice areas with the firm consist of commercial, financial institution, insurance and commercial real estate litigation, including class action defense in the state and federal courts. She previously served as Secretary of the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section and currently is a member of NYSBA’s House of Delegates.
BJ FINNERAN, 46, recently joined Zeichner Ellman & Krause as Counsel. He is an experienced trial attorney, having served most recently as the Managing Attorney of the trial division of a major insurance company. Finneran has litigated insurance coverage disputes, other insurance disputes and labor law claims. Earlier in his career he served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City. He will practice in the firm’s insurance and commercial litigation areas.
JAMES N. ZELL, 38, an associate in the corporate and finance area of the Zeichner Ellman & Krause, has been promoted to Counsel. His practice areas include real estate and other bank financing, including asset based lending as well as remedial finance issues. Zell also provides advice to automotive finance lenders and hotel and hospitality concerns. He currently is a member of the Real Property Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
