Benjamin H. Green Joins
Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP as a Partner
NEW YORK, May 2009 --- Benjamin H. Green, who specializes in civil litigation, has joined Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP as a litigation partner. He will practice in both its Connecticut and New York offices. Green formerly was a founding partner of the Stamford office of Dreier LLP, and a litigation partner at both Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner and Kelley Drye & Warren.
Green has extensive experience in civil litigation, with a concentration on complex commercial, securities, intellectual property, employee relations and ERISA matters. He has regularly represented clients in state and federal trials and appeals, industry arbitrations and government regulatory proceedings. He was an Assistant District Attorney in New York County and has substantial experience in representing clients in white-collar criminal matters, government investigations and conducting internal investigations.
Green has represented a broad range of clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to startup ventures, including foreign and domestic financial institutions, financial service companies, technology companies, manufacturers, telecommunications providers, distribution and logistics companies and individuals.
He is a member of the Bar of New York and Connecticut, and was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Green graduated from Brandeis University in 1974 and received his J.D. degree in 1977 from Cornell Law School. He was selected as a Super Lawyer in 2006, 2008 and 2009. He resides in Stamford, CT.
