Kenneth Rudd is Of Counsel in the litigation group in ZEK's New York office. Ken regularly defends ZEK’s financial institution clients in actions involving financial fraud, Articles 3, 4 and 4A of the Uniform Commercial Code, contractual and other commercial disputes and advises financial institution clients in connection with responding to grand jury, regulatory, and legislative investigations. Ken also represents clients seeking to collect retrospective rated insurance premiums. In addition, Ken represents the firm's clients as creditors in bankruptcy.

Ken’s notable accomplishments include the successful defense of a $160 million lender liability action in which the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed the District Court’s grant of summary judgment dismissing the plaintiffs’ claims in their entirety. In determining that ZEK’s client had no obligation to fund a loan to a Florida real estate developer, the court affirmed important principles about when negotiations and preliminary writings may become binding.

Prior to joining ZEK, Ken prosecuted cases at the trial level and handled appeals as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County.
