Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP, founded
in 1980, is a sophisticated full service firm offering services
in all aspects of commercial legal representation. Although
the engine of the Firm's development and growth has been the
representation of financial institutions, its substantive practice
embraces much more, including domestic and international banking
and finance, litigation and arbitration, general commercial
and corporate law, real estate, securities, regulatory matters,
trusts and estates, insurance, creditors' rights and bankruptcy.
At approximately thirty-five lawyers, ZEK is smaller than most
law firms with similar practices. The Firm's size is a function
of its philosophy, which is to provide every client with efficient
and personal legal services. Client representation is decidedly
not relegated to junior attorneys; partners maintain active
"hands on" involvement in every matter within the Firm. By the
same token, every effort is made to carefully staff each matter
with attorneys of appropriate levels of experience.
ZEK's attorneys have joined the Firm with valuable experience
in their respective fields. Each attorney brings a unique and
polished set of legal skills and backgrounds; as such, ZEK's
clients do not underwrite the development and training of the
Firm's already seasoned attorneys. The net result is that ZEK
is positioned to provide sophisticated legal representation
to its clients efficiently and economically.
ZEK's client list comprises a wide array of entities, ranging
from some of the world's largest corporations, to privately
held businesses, to entrepreneurs and individuals; indeed many
of ZEK's client relationships stretch back to the Firm's inception.
