Arbitration

The firm has an active practice in all aspects of commercial arbitration proceedings. Members of the firm have served as arbitrators, conducted arbitrations, and conducted all manner of related judicial proceedings including court actions to compel or stay arbitrations, to appoint arbitrators, to enforce awards, as well as supplementary proceedings concerning discovery in connection with arbitration. Arbitration subject areas include disputes involving trade finance, commercial matters, insurance, reinsurance, maritime, real estate and securities. Recently the firm successfully completed a $30 million arbitration against a major Wall Street firm.
