Ten ZEK Attorneys Recognized as “Super Lawyers” in 2013

Candidates for Super Lawyers are nominated by their peers and then undergo a rigorous evaluation process based on 12 indicators of professional achievement: verdicts and settlements; transactions; representative clients; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; position within law firm; bar and or other professional activity; pro bono and community service as a lawyer; scholarly lectures and writings; education and employment background; and other outstanding achievements. The selection process for Rising Stars is the same as for Super Lawyers selection, with one exception: to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. The final published list of chosen attorneys represents no more than 5 percent of the attorneys practicing in any given state.
